This modern Italian-inspired typeface with a classic Roman flair was commissioned from a custom logotype project for a small, women-owned Olive Oil company.
Della Pace (day-lah pah-chay, ‘of peace’ in Italian) takes its cues from the centuries of posters and signs seen across Italy. The letterforms were inspired by the restaurant, shop, hotel, street and advertising signs of Italy.
The font extends from packaging to social media content. The minimalist logotype and label allow for photogenic, shareable content that balances with the landscape of the Italian countryside where the olive oil is made.
